Savannah is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New Mexico. She graduated from Western New Mexico University in 2018 with a Master's in Clinical Social Work. Savannah's professional background includes experience in the areas of Inpatient Mental Health Therapy, Outpatient Mental Health Therapy, ABA Therapy, In-home/school Behavior Intervention and Medical Social Work. Savannah works with adolescents (14+), adults, couples, and families. Savannah primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) utilizing approaches which are strengths-based, attachment-based and solution-focused, and is certified in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). Mindfulness and deep-breathing exercises are often integrated into therapy. She thoroughly appreciates connecting with others from all religious and cultural backgrounds and has great care for the life stories which are shared with her. Savannah strongly believes the therapeutic relationship is the basis of effective therapy and essential in reaching desired outcomes.
Savannah was born and raised in New Mexico and loves the beautiful state where the culture is rich, the food is delicious, and we experience all four glorious seasons. In her free time she enjoys dining at local restaurants, exploring local wineries, and attending local events/markets. She is a yoga enthusiast and believes self-care, whatever that may be for you, to be a true necessity in maintaining a well-balanced daily life. Savannah believes life to be complex but wonderful and hopes us all to lead lives which are fulfilling, meaningful, happy, and free".
